- Information collected when you purchase from Last Minute Hotels Online (LMHO) is used to charge your credit card and deliver your booking confirmation electronically. We may also contact you about your stay for customer service purposes or to make any changes or cancellations to your booking.
- LMHO will collect information such as your full name, email address and/or telephone number whenever you submit a query or suggestion, or request assistance with a booking.
- LMHO will only send newsletters to people that have opted in to receive them. Our newsletters provide information about the latest deals available on the web site and occassionally offer incentives for completing surveys or participating in competitions or promotions.
- Accordingly, the personal information you provide is accessible only by designated staff and is only used for the purpose for which you provide the information (such as to book a hotel room). Personal information will not be released to third parties, except if release is required by law, or is pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations or proceedings. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide or sell personal information to third parties.
- LMHO provides the guest name, telephone number and email address for each booking made to the relevant accommodation supplier. Our accommodation suppliers require this information for the booking and if they need to contact you about the booking. Although LMHO offers accommodation from reputable accommodation suppliers, we have not placed specific limitations on these suppliers from using or disclosing your information without your permission. Therefore, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any suppliers whose accommodation you purchase through LMHO.
- Our systems are configured with industry standard data encryption and firewall technology. When you send information to LMHO over the Internet, your data is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure safe transmission.
- You can enter your credit card information with confidence at our web site. Data is sent via https (hypertext transfer protocol secure) instead of being sent via http (hypertext transfer protocol). 'Https' is the industry standard for secure Internet data transmission.
- Once your encrypted personal information is received by our secure server, it is translated back into its original form and stored in our database. Your credit card information is not transmitted over the Internet again.
