Banana Boat
If you are looking for a unique way to spend time with family, friends, colleagues, or other acquaintances, this is about as crazy as you can get. Imagine flying over the water behind a power boat on a big, inflatable banana. That's right, a banana. It's big and yellow and lots of fun. Be sure to hold on because if you don't you might just go flying! But all in all, falling off is part of the fun. You know what they say, if you fall off the banana, you can either quit or hop right back on. And trust me, you will want to get back on this banana. Slide through the beautiful South Carolina waters and spend a great day enjoying an activity that is about as far from the norm as you can get.
The banana boat can hold up to six people, and three riders are required for each run. This activity is great for family reunions, birthday parties, and more.

Middleton Place Plantation Gardens, House Museum & Stableyards
The House Museum, built by Henry Middleton in 1755 as a gentlemen's guest quarters, is the only surviving portion of the three-building residential complex that once stood overlooking the Ashley River. It was the home of four important generations of Middletons, beginning with Henry Middleton, President of the First Continental Congress; Arthur, a signer of the Declaration of Independence; Henry, Governor of South Carolina and an American Minister to Russia; and Williams, a signer of the Ordinance of Secession.
The House contains one of the finest collections of family-owned artifacts. After perusing beautiful period furnishings and artwork, head outside to the magnificent gardens -- 65 acres of landscaped terraces, shadowy allees, ornamental ponds and garden rooms laid out with precise symmetry and balance made Middleton Place the most unique and grand garden of its time. You'll also get to visit the stable yards, where a weaver, cooper, carpenter, potter and blacksmith work diligently, demonstrating the skills practiced by artisan slaves at Middleton Place. Come explore a bygone way of life in the beautiful South Carolina Low Country.
